We, Omar Homoeopathic Medical College and RC, took a pledge as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to contribute to the initiative led by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, aiming to make India free from all forms of addiction on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day.

  • The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launched NMBA on 15th August 2020.
  • 60 students, faculty, and non-teaching staff actively participated in the pledge.
  • A rally was conducted to spread awareness about the harmful and life-threatening effects of addiction.
  • Students were also educated about mobile addiction, which is becoming a silent killer in society.
  • They received first-hand information on how to use mobile devices wisely without falling into addiction.
  • The importance of meditation, yoga, and effective communication was emphasized to help students manage daily life stress.

We are grateful to NCH and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment for this opportunity.

Thank You.
