Introduction

The Physiology Exhibition was organized by the Department of Human Physiology & Biochemistry to educate and engage students in various aspects of human physiology. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Hasina Mhaishale with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a warm welcome to all faculty members and students.

The exhibition featured interactive models, posters, demonstrations, and expert guidance, helping students better understand physiological concepts in a practical and engaging way.

Objectives

  • To provide an interactive learning experience on human physiology

  • To demonstrate key physiological processes through models and live demonstrations

  • To encourage students to explore careers in physiology and biomedical sciences

Activities & Highlights

Exhibition Stalls:

  • Cardiovascular System: Demonstration of blood flow through the chambers of the heart

  • Respiratory System: Demonstration of the mechanism of respiration and lung movement

  • Nervous System: Explanation of spinal cord tracts and transmission of impulses from sensory to motor neurons

  • Excretory System: Demonstration of kidney function and dialysis process

Feedback

  • Total Participants: 57

  • Visitor Feedback: 85% of attendees rated the exhibition as “Excellent” or “Very Good”

  • Exhibitor Feedback: Faculty and students showed interest in participating in future exhibitions
