Event Highlights

The Swachhata Abhiyan 2025 was organized as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’s “Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025” campaign, themed “Swachhotsav – Clean and Green Festivities”, focusing on promoting zero-waste community celebrations.

The objective of the event was to spread awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental conservation, and to contribute actively towards a clean and green India.

The event began with an inaugural ceremony, where Dr. Shakir addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness, waste segregation, recycling, and its role in health and nation-building.

Students, teachers, and staff enthusiastically participated in cleaning the college premises, corridors, nearby public areas, and the railway station.

Volunteers removed garbage, plastic waste, and unwanted materials, while chanting slogans like “Clean India, Green India.”

As part of the green initiative, saplings were planted to encourage environmental sustainability.

The surroundings became cleaner and more organized.

Participants developed a sense of responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness in their daily lives.

Awareness about hygiene, sanitation, and sustainable living was successfully spread among students and the local community.
Conclusion
The Swachhata Abhiyan 2025 was a great success with the active participation of students, staff, and the local community. The event reinforced the values of cleanliness and environmental responsibility while motivating everyone to work towards a cleaner, healthier, and greener India, in line with Mahatma Gandhi’s vision.
